Ahmet Ali Çelikten, known as Arab Ahmed, the origin of whom goes back to Borru Emirate of Africa, is the first black pilot of the world. In this diorama, the plane of Arab Ahmed, who served in the Airplane Force of the Ottoman Army in the World War I, is pictured while in Amasra Bay. Supporting the fight in the National Struggle, Arab Ahmed was retired in 1949. Ahmet Çelikten, having a special place in the world aviation history, was awarded “Sarı Bahri Airplane Medal”.
